Kinja'd!!!

The dough was too sticky, so the shape got a little funky.

Freah fontina cheese and homemade pizza sauce, though. The Jiffy box dough was the only downfall of the entire thing, so I’m doing that myself next time. Tastes fantastic, though.

Dough is easy (helps to have a stand mixer). I am lazy sometimes and just buy premade dough at Trader Joe’s though, which is fine, though maybe a bit more rubbery.

Using a pizza stone would probably get you better results on the crust than the aluminum pan.

Looks mighty tasty. No toppings?

My post night shift 8am meal is Cumberland bangers and mash with thick gravy. Nom nom.

Kinja'd!!!

Oh, and the Guinness. ;)

I had some pepperoni, but decided against it. The cheese is really good itself, though.

And it’s amazing the difference in look between a pint from a tap and from a bottle.

If it works with just cheese, awesome.

The Guinness was still settling.

My whiskey should hopefully arrive in the next day or two.

It’s a little difficult to work with, as it sticks together and is on the softer side, but it tastes great. I prefer it to mozzarella or provolone, to be honest.

if you’re not a restaurant, worry less about how it looks and more about how it tastes :)

I find the tomatoes off of my own plants are far better (blemishes and all) than anything I can buy in the store.

If there’s anything British cuisine gets right, it’s breakfast. though I can’t imagine doing a Full Breakfast; I think I’d be set for two days after that.

Especially the way I do it.

Eight rashers of bacon (not U.S. Style), three pork sausages, two fried eggs, six fried mushrooms, fried baked beans, two halved fried tomatoes, three slices of black pudding (blood sausage), two slices of fried bread and a few fried hash browns. Job done, oh an some toast.

Lol. You want to try one of my breakfast Stotties.

A bread bun about 6-8 inches in diameter. 12 rashers of bacon, three fried eggs and six pork sausages.

It’ll set you up for the day. :)

Here ya go, a junior English breakfast.

So good.

Kinja'd!!!

People say British food is bland and uninteresting, I say they are doing it wrong or eating at the wrong place.

Many make Cumberland pie, Cottage pie, Shepherds pie, etc... but not do it right. You need the right potatoes for the mash, good quality piece of meat and a touch of Worcester sauce.

Also Cumberland sausage has to be one of the best sausages ever (I’m biased, I’m a Cummerlan through an through). Yorkshire puddings are a thing of beauty and taste heaven and so easy to do.
